Gay Rights

We would like to know who really believes in gay rights on livejournal. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in gay rights, then repost this and title the post as "Gay Rights". If you don't believe in gay rights, then just ignore this. Thanks.

I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, considering those who read my journal. Even my mother believes in gay rights, and she's one of the most conservative people on the planet.

It would be much more interesting to know who is prepared to say they don't believe in gay rights, since people who ignore the statement won't necessarily be standing against gay rights as a general concept.

Who is the "we" conducting this survey - is there some way to monitor the number of LJ posts headed up "Gay Rights" and the percentage of flist members then taking up the challenge?

Okay, I guess I should stop asking questions and just carry on being gay.

Well, I don't think LJ is very good at judging public opinion, anyway. Rather than measuring the extent of support for gay rights, I think the real benefit of the "Gay Rights" post is that reminds people that there are a lot of gay rights supporters out there.
